About

Our Approach

Working closely with the local community to develop new products and designs is a big part of what we do. We’re committed to preserving age-old traditions such as rattan weaving and wood carving through our carefully curated collection of furniture, lighting and homewares.

House of B is proud to support rural communities and small local businesses; pushing these crafts into new territories and helping develop these skilled artisans.

Local Artisans

Each project is unique and we take an in-depth, individual approach to everything we do.

From initial consultation, concept development, mood boards and space planning, we work closely with clients to get the right look and feel of a project and understand what really matters to them. We can create full-scale developments with our talented team and specialised contractors all the way from building design and architecture through to bespoke furniture and lighting with our skilled artisans.

Whether the project is commercial or residential, House of B takes the time needed to execute briefs with the highest attention to detail.

Meet the Team

  • Bridget Dempsey, Founder

Bridget studied interior design at Chelsea College of Arts at the University of Arts, London after a successful career in media and public relations. Drawing on her previous studies and experience in Applied Science, Education and Journalism, Bridget takes a detailed approach to unlocking how people like to use their houses and work places.

“Interior design is much more than making a house or commercial space beautiful. It is about examining the way people live and work, and developing carefully curated spaces to support their activities and help them thrive.”

With a lifelong love of art, design and architecture combined with a thirst for learning, Bridget is able to push the boundaries of style rule books and develop projects that reflect her clients’ needs and personalities.

Ultimately, Bridget puts people at the heart of every project.

“A house becomes a home when it reflects the personalities of the people within its walls.”

Every project is an opportunity to craft spaces that are not only visually stunning but also profoundly meaningful and practical, contributing to a more beautiful and sustainable built environment.”
